Director of Research Institute of Agroengineering Problems and New Technologies of Kazakhstan National Agrarian University.

Author of more than 60 patents, patents for inventions, including foreign ones. He prepared 2 doctors and 5 candidates of technical Sciences. Winner of the distinction "Inventor of the USSR".

The main directions of scientific research of J. S. Sadykov:

- development of concepts and forecasts for the development of mechanization of harvesting grain, oilseeds and fodder crops;

- mathematical modeling of the harvesting process, system justification of the innovation of the working bodies of harvesting machines and their type-and-dimension series;

- creation of combine industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
